"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life."

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, also known as Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, was a children’s entertainment restaurant founded by William Afton where five children mysteriously went missing, leading to its closure. Over the years, various security guards were hired to help protect the pizzeria from drunks and vagrants at night. After Mike Schmidt was hired and saved his sister Abby Schmidt from the animatronics, Afton confronted Mike but in the process was injured and was dragged to the storage room. The pizzeria then collapsed within itself, leaving it in ruins.

History[]

Early Years[]

"This place was huge in the ’80s with the kids."
”Steve Raglan” to Mike Schmidt

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place opened in the early 1980s and quickly became an instant hit among children and families. The restaurant's state-of-the-art animatronic mascots, including Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, were the main performers.

Closure[]

Missing Children Incident[]

Sometime in the late 80s, during a birthday party, William Afton, the restaurant's founder, killed five children at the restaurant while wearing the Yellow Rabbit suit. Afton hid the bodies inside the animatronic suits in an attempt to conceal the evidence. The police searched the pizzeria but came up empty handed to the pizzeria’s closure.

Afton, now posing as a career counselor, hired various individuals as security guards to kill as many people as possible without directly involving himself. One of these guards, Bob, was killed by the animatronics being influenced by Afton.

In 2000, Afton hired Mike Schmidt but his plans were disrupted when the animatronics formed a bond with Mike’s sister, Abby Schmidt, and Afton’s daughter, Vanessa Shelly, turned against him. In response, Afton decided to don the Yellow Rabbit suit and confront them directly.

Afton was eventually corned by the animatronics which triggered the springlocks inside his suit. As Afton was dying, the animatronics dragged him to the backrooms of the pizzeria. Shortly after, the building began to collapse, sealing Afton and the animatronics inside the ruins of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place.
